Bonjour friends and lovers,
I hope everyone had a wonderful February! Mine flew by so quickly, I hardly know where the time went. My schedule has been kept full with will dinner dates, social events, and some party planning just to keep things lively in the tail end of our winter season.
I don’t have much to report on, other than I may be brought to Austin later this month, and will have exactly two spots of availability in the event I visit. Please inquire via email if you’re interested! Otherwise I will be available in NYC and for FMTYs all month. Climates that host a temperature of 80 degrees and warmer will be prioritized.
Here are my top three date ideas for NYC
The Museum of Sex currently has Portia Munson: The Pink Bedroom on display, a girlishly playful commentary on the suffocating trappings of feminist capitalism. After, we can visit the museum’s erotic carnival, play a couple games, and go home with some scandalous prizes!
I’m personally dying for a dinner at the opulent Bad Roman in Columbus circle. Eater has called it a “deranged”… ‘Buca Di Beppo meets White Lotus.’ Naturally, I’m all in on the concept. Must try’s are the osetra caviar gnocchi and the whole roasted lobster with Calabrian pasta.
For the effortlessly cool Brooklyn Babe, there’s always the Sunken Harbor Club. Located in the upstairs bar of Gage and Tollner, the vibe is nautical speakeasy with tiki drinks suitable for a refined palate. Their cocktail menu is organized in categories of ‘pleasantly intoxicated,’ ‘medium drunk,’ and ‘point of no return.’ The menu also offers zero proof cocktails and some food items, but in my opinion, the real move is to have a few drink and then snag a table downstairs for the seafood tower followed by a NY strip.
Until next time!
