Busy is back in season
Hello again fellow bon vivants and lust-for-lifers.
What a wonderfully full April I’ve been having, and I hope it’s been the same for you! My schedule has kept me busy as a bee, flitting from soho to central park and everywhere in between.
So as the second dose marinates in my immune system and I finalize the details of my DC trip later this month, I thought I’d take the time to send you a little update on petite vieille moi.
If you follow my twitter, you’ve seen the iconic color coordinated photo of me after my most recent purchase from Acne. Maybe one of the best impulse buys, in my opinion, but I absolutely had to have this light pink wool coat.
I mean…it perfectly matched my mask! I couldn’t ignore a coincidence that obvious! The universe was practically begging me to buy it.
Afterwards, my friend and I went in to Ernesto’s in the lower east side for a coffee and ended up staying for a whole spread of tea and snacks.
Their oolong is completely divine, my favorite tea right now. We sampled some pastries and had the spanish tortilla- a perfect bite for replenishing our energy after an exhausting day of hauling all those shopping bags around!
I practically live at this restaurant now, partially due to how much the wine and bev directors there love me, but they truly are one of the best restaurants in the city right now. I’ve endured pre fixe meals during outdoor only seating in the middle of a blizzard for their iconic txuleta. The menu changes weekly, if not daily, so it’s worth it to come in regularly.
That’s all I’ll dish for now…
Before I go, I’ll let you know that both my spring schedule and my DC tour are filling up quickly! I’m encouraging pre-booking right now for everyone for this month, and the following. I anticipate this spring and summer getting booked up fast, especially considering the hiatus I plan on taking in a few months.
I’m looking forward to more good meals, great company, and long nights in new cities. So until we meet again, I’ll leave you with this-
xoxo,
Mina
